Car exhaust, the most dangerous
environmental enemy
It is the main cause of many diseases, it weakens the
coming generations, kills rare living things including
plantations. It is the main enemy of humans and nature.
It is a persistent war against nature, a war without
many warriors to fight against it. Shall we work
together to put and end to this war for the sake of our
health and clean environment?!
It is confirmed by scientific researches that the diesel
fuel is the cause of many diseases , especially the lung
cancer.
Let us work as one man for protection of our beautiful
environment against pollution, for the sake of our
health, and the sake of our children who are our future
savings and reserve.
The traffic jams and bottlenecks at cities and gaseous
emissions and smoke from diesel engines, and factories
are the most devastating elements that jeopardize human
health, and the main cause of respiratory problems,
headache, and eye problems. Such pollutants also are the
cause of acidulous rain which has an adverse effect on
trees and plants. Thus, gaseous emissions from the
diesel engines represent the highest percentage of the
total environmental pollutants, such pollutants are the
result of incomplete combustion of the fuel, which
generates poisonous CO1, nitrogen oxide, hydrocabonates,
smoke (carbon) and a certain percentage of H2s.
It is confirmed by all scientific reports, studies and
researches that car exhaust and gaseous emissions from
diesel engines are one of the main dangers that
jeopardize human heath and future. Because of the
industrial revolution, the world faces many
environmental problems which it has not experienced
before, which may have an adverse and devastating affect
on human health and the ozone layer, and our existence
in general, which made many scientists and researchers
to focus on this serious problem and devote their
material and scientific potentialities in an attempt to
find a solution for this severe problem. The result of
such researches confirms that 90% of such pollution is
attributable to smokes and gaseous emissions from diesel
engines which generate nitrogen oxide that causes
acidulous fallout that adversely affect wild and botanic
life, respiratory system, gestation and sensory system,
and also generate CO2 which causes headache, breathing
problems, general weakness, eye problems, convulsions,
to be added to hydrocabonates which cause liver cancer
and other dangerous diseases.
It is confirmed by the researches and scientists at
Germany and Taiwan that pollution caused by the traffic
jams and chemicals in car exhaust may be the main cause
of asthma and respiratory problems for children. It is
found out by scientists that male children who are
exposed to high level of car associated pollution are
susceptible to hay fever by 16% compared to 17% for
female children. It is confirmed also by the American
scientists that gaseous emissions from buses and trucks
and other means of transportation, may increase the
chances of cancer. This result was based on a recent
study that confirms emission of (41) dangerous gases and
pollutants from diesel engines. These gases contain
toxic agents such as arsenic, benzene, dioxin and
aromatic hyrdocarbonates as well as other toxic agents.
Researchers are striving to add diesel fuel to the list
of the poisonous environmental pollutants which have to
be controlled, stressing on enforcement of severe
restrictions to regulate use thereof. In line with our
strenuous efforts towards protection of our environment
and keeping it in good shape and clean condition, we
call upon all industrial and commercial sectors to
shoulder their responsibility towards protection of the
environment, as a part of the world effort towards
solving of this dangerous problem that jeopardizes our
life and future of our children.
